NME in Aloe Vera Gel can be used as an optional daily maintenance addition to Miracle Bandage Plus. This is appropriate if the skin is dry. There are already marine extract time release crystals embedded in the Miracle Bandage that are activated with daily swabbing with water.

Notes:
1. In general in all of these examples, we have found that some conditions like stretch marks and acne scars in patients over 50 years old may require longer treatment* periods than for Teens and Young Adults. For example, Dr. Eric Lewis has observed acne scars improve significantly for a 27 year-old female in a five to six week period. This same treatment* worked for a 78 year-old female but it took four to five months to achieve the same results. Firm massaging for 10 seconds is essential for the best improvement.

Directions for Use with Miracle Bandage Plus

Once a day, after swabbing the Miracle Bandage using a paper towel wetted with tap water, or rinsing. Blot dry.

Carefully place just enough Aloe Vera Gel onto each piece of the Miracle Bandage (depending on the size of the area to cover usually less than pea size) and spread using the cotton swab. Allow it to be absorbed into the skin through the Miracle Bandage.

Directions for Use Without Miracle Bandage Plus

Apply a small amount to desired areas, apply your favorite moisturizer (or even better NME in Almond Oil) and then massage vigorously for 10 seconds. Please don’t pre-mix your moisturizer with NME in AVG. For older or heavily sun damaged skin, after quickly spreading Miracle of the Sea, apply a liberal amount of your favorite moisturizer or Miracle of the Sea 2% NME (Natural Marine Extract) in Almond Oil and massage vigorously for 20 seconds.

The Science

The pathogenesis of aging is based on each cell of the body being able to repair itself through cell division a certain number of times before the cell’s function deteriorates or “gets old”. This is genetically determined.

Each cell has a part of its DNA called a telomere. A telomere is located at the end of the DNA strand and each time the cell requires repair, it divides and a small piece of the telomere is cleaved. As the telomere gets shorter, the cell function becomes less effective, and thus further repair, rebuilding and healing becomes increasingly poorer in quality and slower. The cell becomes “old”. The ingredients in Natural Marine Extract seem to reset the number of times that each cell can divide, thus the metamorphosis back to youth.

Inflammation is the single largest factor to cell damage which requires repair and cell regeneration, thus cell division and more cleavage of that cell’s telomere. Damage from inflammation of the skin caused by sun, wind, dryness, smoking, “rashes”, chemicals, pollutants, and trauma, including cuts, scrapes and bruises. The first key component of stopping the aging process is to stop and/or avoid inflammation. The second component is to minimize the damage from the inflammation.

Mechanism of Action of Ingredients of NME

A. Stimulation of stem cells transforming them into new fibrocytes and new capillaries; lengthening telomeres to transform old, withered fibrocytes into young, productive fibrocytes. This rejuvenation process produces tremendous amounts of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid (see photos of biopsies below). The effect is stronger, healthier skin.
