The combination of triglycerides, fatty acids, cholesterol and wax esters produce an amazing cutaneous lubrication system. Squalene, the sunscreen of sebum, protects the skin against UVA and UVB. Sebum is the ultimate anti-aging substance minimizing two of the major causes of skin deterioration: inflammation from micro fissures and protecting against the ionizing effects of ultraviolet light.

How to Choose 2%, 4% or 10% Lip Health Balm
2% should be sufficient for most people.
Starting with the 2% Natural Marine Extract Lip Health Balm also lets you experience the product and see initial results.
For more serious conditions and users 70+, you may wish to bump up to 4% Natural Marine Extract after using the 2% for several weeks.
10% Natural Marine Extract is for very serious conditions.
Using Lip Health Balm
For both lips, use a single 1/4 pea-sized amount and firmly massage in for at least 10 seconds daily. For severely damaged lips, NME in AVG may be applied first.
For prevention or mild issues, apply once daily for the first month and every other day thereafter. Applying before bed is a convenient time. If you apply during the day, choose a time that you’re not going to be eating or drinking for at least a half hour after you apply.
If there is an active problem, (lip sores, small abrasions, avulsions, tears, bruises, sun or thermal burns, small ulcers) apply twice daily, after cleaning the wound with hydrogen peroxide. Rinse with tap water. Pat dry. Apply a small amount of the balm until wound is healed.
For lip enhancement / augmentation / filler procedures. Using the Miracle of the Sea Lip Health Balm with Natural Marine Extract in between procedures will improve the results. Any cosmetic surgery procedure is improved when the skin is healthier.
With all Miracle of the Sea Natural Marine Extract products, the key is to massage them in. With the lip balm, the impulse will be to put it on and do nothing further, so please remember to massage it in to your lips for about 10 seconds.
Please don’t stop using whatever you usually use to moisturize and protect your lips from the sun during the day. When used in combination, please always apply Miracle of the Sea first.
The Lip Health Balm can be used for minor wound care on other parts of the body as well.
Combining Miracle of the Sea Lip Health Balm with Miracle of the Sea Natural Marine Extract Capsules
It has been reported that combining the Natural Marine Extract Capsules with the Lip Health Balm enhances the results of the Lip Health Balm. For the number of capsules to be taken, please go by the severity of the condition rather than your age.
Storage
Keep at temperatures less than 75°F.
Can also be refrigerated but it is not necessary.
