Miracle of the Sea is a subsidiary of Marine Biology and Environmental Technologies, LLC (MBET). MBET is a solutions oriented technology company focused on ocean, environmental and healing science. It attributes its success to its core values and the diversity and talents of its over 400 advisory board members from multitudes of nationalities, cultures, backgrounds, and disciplines.
This diversity allows differences of perspectives and cross pollination of creative ideas, approaches, and techniques empowering us to explore the vast frontier of healing sciences, marine biology, biomedicine, and environmental science, including ecosystems restoration.

Miracle of the Sea has spent over 25 years researching, developing, testing, patenting, producing, marketing, and selling revolutionary transformative health products derived from the ocean. Starting in 1999, the precursor of MBET was a simple commodity based abalone farm in central Baja. It expanded into growing all selfish, most crustaceans, and many other valuable ocean plant and animals species.
The marine environment, which created life 3.5 billion years ago is the “natural“ location for uncovering the rejuvenating and healing powers of the ocean.
Starting in 2001, MBET hired 12 UCLA marine biology graduate students to scour the global literature for any and all ocean compounds reported to have human health benefit. Over 3400 compounds identified. They were all edible and safe. By 2012 the number of marine extract compounds had been distilled down to 88. Through continued research, using different combinations and concentrations of these 88 compounds, many revolutionary products were formed.
The first patented product of this extraordinary collaboration of MOTS members had been developed. Natural Marine Extract, US Patent 10,772,825, is a completely natural and edible product.
Miracle Bandage (MB) has had a similar tortuous development of each of its components including the fabric, adhesive, and perforation/pore size and design. The fabric had to be tough and durable to withstand any pressure or sheer forces but also translucent to monitor the underlying skin. Adhesive must be long lasting and fall off on its own in up to 3 to 4 weeks. The perforations and pores must allow aeration of the underlying skin to avoid maceration and be able to wash or administer medication’s through it without removing it.
